Every HOP departure today is flown by helicopter, arranged with vetted Part 135 operators, with the operating carrier named before you pay. That is the honest state of air taxi right now.
The platform is built for what comes next. The pad network and the booking flow behind it are designed around vertiports and heliports, ready to support eVTOL aircraft, electric vertical takeoff and landing, as they are certified and enter service with Part 135 operators.
That next chapter is already taking shape in DFW. In August 2026, Joby Aviation signed a lease for 45,000 square feet at the Alliance Air Trade Center at Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport, its first major Texas facility, for eVTOL manufacturing and testing ahead of commercial service. Fort Worth Alliance is already a pad on this network.
When that happens, eVTOL seats will book here exactly the way helicopter seats do today: same routes, same flow, operator and certificate shown before payment. Nothing changes for you, and nothing is promised before it is real.
This is a Hop story, not a charter one. Charter is a different product by design: conventional Part 135 aircraft, any airport, any distance, and that does not change.
